1. Welcome & Icebreaker (30 mins)
Objective: Build trust and set a collaborative tone.
Activity:
"Two Truths and a Lie": Participants share 3 facts (2 true, 1 false) about their connection to the project.
Output: Laughter, relaxed atmosphere.
2. Context & Goals (20 mins)
Presenter: Project lead or facilitator.
Content:
Share the challenge (e.g., "How might we revive our village through ethical tourism?").
Review past efforts (e.g., failed tourism initiatives).
Define success metrics (e.g., "20% increase in local business revenue by 2025").
3. Empathy Mapping (45 mins)
Objective: Understand stakeholder perspectives.
Activity:
Break into small groups (locals, tourists, officials).
Fill out an empathy canvas:
"What do we THINK, FEEL, SEE, HEAR about this issue?"
Output: Insights pinned on a shared board.
4. Ideation Sprint (60 mins)
Methods:
Crazy 8s: Sketch 8 ideas in 8 minutes (e.g., "Nomad-led farming tours").
Dot Voting: Participants vote on top 3 ideas.
Output: Ranked list of solutions (e.g., "Co-working space in abandoned schoolhouse").
5. Prototyping (90 mins)
Objective: Turn ideas into tangible plans.
Activities:
Group 1: Business model canvas (for entrepreneurs).
Group 2: Physical mock-up (e.g., cardboard model of a tourist route).
Group 3: Role-play (e.g., "Act out a nomad’s first day in the village").
Output: Rough prototypes to test.
6. Feedback & Refinement (45 mins)
Method: Gallery Walk
Groups present prototypes.
Others give feedback via sticky notes (Green = "Love this!", Red = "Concerns").
Output: Refined solutions with community buy-in.
7. Action Plan & Next Steps (30 mins)
Activity:
"Who Does What by When?": Assign tasks (e.g., "Mayor secures funding by November").
Set a follow-up meeting date.
Output: Signed commitment posters/photos.
8. Closing & Celebration (15 mins)
Activity:
"One-Word Share": Participants describe the workshop in 1 word.
Group photo + informal networking.

Snacks/coffee (crucial for energy!).
Adaptation Tips
