1.7. I can use online maps and localization services
Google Maps has long served as the go-to navigation tool for millions of phones, tablets, cars, and smart wearables. While everyone is probably familiar with using Google Maps to get from point A to point B, there are a multitude of multitool-like extras hiding under the hood that are worth highlighting.
Over the years, Google has added features that allow you to save your favorite places, share your location with friends, and get personalized recommendations.
Finding places on Google map
a. Open maps.google.com and in the Search bar, enter desired place for example town
b. Search results display place on the map, and some additional data about the place that we search. Maps allow filtering places of interest.
c. Using filters on google map to find Restaurants
d: Display restaurants in town
Using Google Maps for navigation purposes on mobile devices
a. In the search bar search for a place that u wish to go and press on Directions
b. Type starting point and press search results.
c. Start navigation to the desired place
