1. Navigate to the folder where you want to create the file
2. Right-click an empty section of the right panel
3. Place the mouse cursor over
4. Place the mouse cursor over New
5. Select a program or file type
6. Type a name for the newly-created file (The following characters in file names are not allowed: " \ / : | < > * ?)
Locate files on the device
Method 1 :
1. In the search bar located on the left-hand side of your taskbar, next to the Windows button, type the name of the app, document, or file that you're looking for.
2. From the search results listed, click on the one that matches what you are looking for.
Method 2:
1. Open File explorer from the menu
2. Select folder, drive or if you don’t know where the file can choose This PC from Navigation pane (Selection This PC will have significantly impact on search time due to a large number of files on PC)
3. Type file name in the search bar
Copy filesSelect the file or folder icon.
Right-click select Copy.
3. Navigate to the location where you want to copy the file
4.Right-click on white space choose Paste
Move files
Select the file icon.
Right-click select Cut
3. Navigate to the location where you want to move file
4. Right-click on white space choose Paste
Rename Files
Select file icon.
Right-click select Rename
Enter desired name (The following characters in file names are not allowed: " \ / : | < > * ?) .
Delete files
Select the file icon.
Right-click select Delete.

To organize your files in Drive, you can create folders to make files easier to find and share with others.
