The FREELANG dictionary is a Dutch project started in 1996 by Frits van Zanten and his friend Tom van der Meijden. Initially the project started with an electronic list of words from Dutch to other languages, but also with the help of several volunteers around the world.
The  French-Greek dictionary & Greek-French dictionary  was made by Claude Brunin/Kyliane and Georges Vekioset Giulia.

This is a lightweight and dynamic program. It allows you to add new words and create practice lists and even print them. It is also a very practical program because it helps you learn new words in an interactive way.

And once you have the dictionary installed then download the list of words  here .

[ Note : The program and the database (word list) must be installed in the same folder. Also if you have a problem with the application then try not to install it in the default Program Files folder but somewhere else. Also when you install select the English language (to avoid any character compatibility errors). And if finally the program doesn't go well don't panic you have to go to the installation folder and then to the langue folder. and you will name the files   Français_Grec.wb  &   Grec_Français.wb     While in the icons folder the France icon should be renamed Français.ico do these and the problem is solved.]
WAY OF USE:

1.  In the   Chercher  button you can search for the words you are looking for.

  • If you click on   Caracteres   the electronic keyboard will appear.
  • In Taille de la fenetre  you set how many lines of words will appear on the screen, from 1 to 25.
2.  Another quality is practicing  Liste personnelle  new words. That is, you make a list which you name for example:  oi meres tis ebdomadas  and then press OK.

The words that we want to put in the list will appear, in this case we will only select the days of the week, clicking on them, and they will appear, in the context of the practice and then we press  Fermer . We can have as many lists as we want depending on the category we want, we can even make a list of all words if we want.
( Note:  If the list of the days of the week has been made from Greek to French, another list for the test ourselves from French to Greek will need to be made)
3.  Then we start the practice with the selected words in the list by clicking on Apprendre  (Start the practice)

The program starts and tests us, first it tells us the word in Greek and we have to find it in English
If the practice mode is automatic autonome when we click the answer will come out, and if the mode is  interactive we must write the answer correctly and without mistakes. This property is in the main menu in  Apprendre. We can also choose the speed we wish to be controlled. Lent  is for slow and  rapide  is for fast.
4.   You can add other words. If you click  Ajouter  (add words),
this window will appear in which you can put other words that are not in the dictionary

The official website of the  FREELANG  French-Greek dictionary & Greek-English dictionary  is  here . Where you will find 197  different dictionaries from French to other languages. The  French-Greek dictionary   is a freeware program, i.e. free software, but of course we should respect the copyrights that you will find  here .
