Although various means of conveying information existed from prehistoric times, after the invention of computers and the Internet, more interactivity emerged, and interfaces became more user-friendly. Social media became wide spread among people whilst the most recent technological evolution incorporates the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI). The wide variety of tools, systems, and technological innovations that are used in the generation, distribution, and consumption of media content, have had a profound impact on the consumers’ behavior and expectations.

Technological Competence: Develop a strong understanding of various media technologies, including their functionalities, applications, and implications for content creation, distribution, and consumption.
Digital Literacy: Enhance digital literacy skills to effectively navigate and utilize digital platforms, tools, and interfaces for media-related activities.
Critical Thinking: Foster critical thinking skills to analyze and evaluate media content, technological advancements, and their impact on society, allowing learners to make informed and reasoned decisions.
Media Literacy: Develop media literacy competences to interpret and critically assess media messages, considering biases, credibility, and the socio-cultural context in which they are produced.
